|Oluwole Urban Market|
The Oluwole Urban Market is designed as a modern urban market which is a material departure from the characteristic ramshackle sheds, shanties and makeshift stalls that previously occupied the Oluwole market. The project is part of the larger plan by the state government to revitalize the Lagos Island business district.
Phase I, which was completed and commissioned by the Lagos State Governor in April 2010, consisted of 678 units equipped with onsite facilities manager, standby electricity supply, 24-hour security, merchandise loading bays and ramps, and other modern facilities. The construction and sale of Phase II will commence in 2010.
