Justice Adesola Oguntade CFR is a retired Justice of the Supreme Court on Nigeria after an illustrious career at the Bench spanning over 30 years. He was appointed a judge of the High Court of Lagos State of Nigeria in September 1980 after practising at the Lagos Bar for 14 years. Between 1984 and 1986, he served as the chairman of the Armed Robbery and Firearms Tribunal in Lagos State.
In 1987, he was elevated to the Court of Appeal Abuja. In 2004, he was elevated to the Supreme Court of Nigeria. His tenure on the Supreme Court Bench saw the delivery of several landmark judgments (including several dissents), which substantially impacted on many areas of law, particularly in the realm of constitutional and administrative law. Many of his dissenting judgments have attained the status of locus classicus and have remained the subject of discourse and analysis in law schools and legal circles. Justice Oguntade retired from the Supreme Court Bench in 2010. In 2010, he was decorated with the national honours of Commander of the Federal Republic (CFR) in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the development of law in Nigeria.
Justice Adesola Oguntade is a law graduate of Holborn College of Law, London and was called to the Nigerian Bar in January 1966.
Wale Odutola is currently Managing Director, ARM Properties Plc.; a seasoned Portfolio Manager, who was until recently in charge of ARM Securities Ltd. He has extensive global market experience in research and managing portfolios - equities and fixed income. In his former capacity, he was responsible for the firm's research and publication of periodicals such as the bi-annual Global Asset Allocation Report (GAAR), and oversaw the investment management function for a number of years.
He has extensive experience in structuring investment portfolios, portfolio management, performance monitoring, evaluation and reporting, and has managed complex portfolios for multinationals, foundations, endowment funds, pension funds and government agencies.
Wale has a BSc. Accounting degree from the University of Lagos.
Deji Alli is the Managing Director of Asset & Resource Management Co Ltd ("ARM"). His prior work experience includes six years in the asset management business with Prudential Portfolio Managers Limited, UK, following which he joined the African Development Bank (ADB) where he was a member of the team responsible for managing the institution's US$8 billion Debt Portfolio.Since founding ARM in 1994, he has managed the firm to becoming one of Nigeria's largest and most prominent asset management companies with total assets of over N425 billion under management. ARM's business focus is asset management, infrastructure financing and real estate.
Deji has a post-graduate degree in Finance from the University of Lagos; and is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management
Dafe Akapedeye (SAN) is the Partner at Akpedeye and Company in 1987, a Law Firm he set up. Prior to setting up his Law Firm, he practiced with White & Case in the United States.
Mr. Akpedeye (SAN) also teaches Law at the Delta State University and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Institute of Construction Industry Arbitrators. He is a member of the International Bar Association and sits on the National Executive Committee of Nigerian Bar Association. He was awarded the honour of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) in 2004.
He graduated from the University of Lagos in 1983 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1984. He obtained his Master of Law (LLM) degree from Harvard University in 1985.
Chioma is the Managing Director of ARM Financial Advisers Limited, a new initiative of the Group positioned to serve as the distribution platform for all Retail products across the Group, which include our financial services and real estate assets - covering all the developments from ARM Properties Plc. Prior to her new role, Chioma served as the Managing Director of ARM’s Asset Management business.
She has over 20 years experience in the financial services industry - spanning commercial banking, public sector banking, and asset management. Prior to joining ARM, Chioma honed her career at Guaranty Trust Bank (Abuja and Port Harcourt), and at Crest Mortgage Finance and Investments Ltd.
Chioma has a BSc Economics from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and is a pioneer alumnus of INSEAD’s Transition to General Management Program.
